Web Developer/Programmer
Become Interactive is looking for a talented web applications developer to join its growing development team. Responsibilities will include;
- supporting our portfolio of existing clients
- development of conceptual, technical and functional specifications
- lead the development of new projects
- developing the company‘s e-commerce & CMS applications
- research and introduce appropriate new technologies
- attending client meetings
- providing admin support for our fleet of Unix servers
You should be an enthusiastic and team-focussed individual and be able to demonstrate excellent commercial experience of using open source technologies to produce accessible and standards compliant large scale web projects (preferably e-commerce).
You will be expected to create work of the highest standards, have an eye for detail and see projects through from start to completion including planning, developing, documenting, testing and maintaining.
At least 2 years of commercial experience is required with around 3 years preferred.
Essential skills include: XHTML 1.0 strict, PHP, MySQL, XML/DOM, CSS, AJAX, Unix (Solaris/Linux) Other useful skills include: C#, .NET, PostgreSQL, Javascript, Perl, Flash, Java, Oracle
Salary: £neg (depending on experience)
